Capturing life

When I first started photography, I just wanted to capture my own family. I had no idea I would love capturing the love, joy, and sometimes tearful moments of so many other people. But I would learn everything I know now just to take pictures of my own family. It has brought me so much joy to capture my children in a beautiful way through my photos.

I want to offer a class that will kickstart other people in taking their own photos, whether it's just your family or you want to start a business. The class I offer is a great "dip your toes in the water" to give you basic knowledge of how to use a professional camera and to begin to get the images you want.

Beginner Class

This class is designed to get you started with your camera. I will teach you how to shoot in manual, how create emotion with your images through light, how to direct your subjects, and some basic editing skills. I hope to light a fire and love for photography and help you achieve beautiful images.

Class investment

$25 per student per class. There does need to be a commitment of at least 9-12 classes per semester to sign up.

Class will be held in Provo on Thursdays from 3-4pm and begin the week of Labor day in September.

You will need to provide your own camera. If you don't have a camera, feel free to reach out for advice on what camera I would recommend.
